Suction cups and vacuum yokes

Vacuum gripper tools are a convenient handling solution for gripping and lifting many different types of objects. Without leaving marks on the surface, the object is lifted using one or more suction cups and can then be turned and rotated as desired.

Objects commonly lifted using vacuum technology include everything from doors and windows to panels, rollers and packages in different shapes. Vehicle components such as sunroofs and bonnets are also often lifted using vacuum yokes.

Safety and operator ergonomics

Pilot-operated check valves for protection against unintentional release are always found on Movomech’s vacuum yokes and suction cup tools. In order to ensure good operator ergonomics, it is important that the correct type of handle is used, and it is often advisable to use extended or adjustable handles for the best results.

Combined with lifting manipulators

Suction cup tools and vacuum suction can be combined with one of Movomech’s lifting manipulators for a complete handling solution. A lifting tool with a vacuum yoke is often used together with pillar-mounted or torque arm lifting manipulators. Vacuum yokes combined with chain hoists also ensure the smooth, convenient handling of bulky items.
