Movomech was founded in Kristianstad in 1986, when we began working with aluminium profiles for lightweight rail systems. Those early profiles formed the basis for the first Mechlift and, later, the Mechrail system. What began with a relatively simple idea – making heavy loads easier to move – became the starting point for four decades of product development.

Today, we develop and manufacture a wide range of lifting and material handling solutions, from individual products to complete customised systems for customers in Sweden and around the world. We are still based at the same site in Kristianstad, where design, product development and manufacturing work closely together. A lot has changed in 40 years, but the aim remains much the same: making lifting easier, safer and more ergonomic.

Forty years gives you a fair amount of experience to build on, but there is still plenty left to do. We will continue to develop practical lifting solutions, combining what we have learnt over the past four decades with new products, technologies and ideas. The next chapter starts here.
